Anna Kakhiani (1991, Kovel, Ukraine) employs a range of media, including installation, video, performance, and text, to delve into interconnections between mental states and physical experience, into uncertainties in empathy, and processing forced transformations.

She lived and worked in Kyiv until February 2022. After Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she fled to the Netherlands and is now temporarily based in Amsterdam.

Anna's educational trajectory is based on informal and alternative studies. She participated in programs like "Experimental Education Protocol: The Temple of All Beings" at Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Arts, a course “Artist” at the Kyiv Academy of Media Arts in Kyiv, “New Media Art School: Liquid City” by Cultural Project and others.

The recent exhibitions include the solo shows ‘Hug Me With Words, Or Maybe Non’ at WG Kunst, ‘Tomorrow's Light is Falling on My Wall’ at PuntWG, and a group exhibition ‘The Essence of Home’ at A-Lab Amsterdam. Her works were featured in group exhibitions such as "Fragile State - SWAP exhibition: UK / Ukraine" at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Odesa, and "Today That Never Happened" at Mystetskyi Arsenal in Kyiv, etc.

She is also involved in cultural activism, facilitating workshops and curating film screenings.
