Set of two documentary photographs taken after Hurricane Polly in Sloterpark in Amsterdam. The visual images and the real actions that followed are metaphor for the readiness of society and each individual to witness something broken, not perfect, damaged, ruined, sad or even scary sometimes. The uprooted tree was sawn up and taken away in pieces somewhere far away from the eyes.
